Chapter 4 is known for evidence-based, versatile and creative communications consulting in Austria as well as Central and South-Eastern Europe for 13 years now. The agency network consists of 10 international offices and partner agencies. With over 80 employees, Chapter 4 is the most successful agency network in CEE/SEE, with its headquarters in Vienna.

Following the welcoming of Sigrid Prager-Kuhn as a Managing Partner for Austria and Sanem Keser-Halper as a Senior Consultant to the team last year, new exciting projects were secured in addition to the existing clients.

Together with the agency trummer + team, Chapter 4 is now managing communications for the Austrian Chamber of Civil-Law Notaries. Chapter 4 is responsible for communication measures in the area of social media as well as the development and production of digital video content for the channels of the Chamber of Civil-Law Notaries and for paid measures. The aim of future activities is to increase awareness of the many digital services offered by Austrian notaries.

TOMRA Collection began working with Chapter 4 on a project basis back in 2023 to raise awareness of the deposit regulations that will come into force on January 1, 2025, and the resulting opportunities for promoting sustainability. Since January 1, 2024, the communication contract has been expanded into an ongoing collaboration. The main focus is the state-of-the-art technology for reusing PET and aluminium packaging: through the circular economy and so-called clean loop recycling, this packaging represents an important resource that can be reused times over. TOMRA Collection sees itself as an expert and partner for decision-makers in the retail sector, stakeholders in organizations that develop new regulations as well and consumers.

The consultancy assignment for Upfield is also new. The leading manufacturer of plant-based food is now presenting Flora, the 100% plant-based alternative to butter, in a new paper pack. The world's first plastic-free and recyclable packaging has been developed through for over four years of research in collaboration with Footprint[1], a leading provider of plastic-free packaging solutions, MCC[2] and Pagès Group[3] and symbolizes the start of a far-reaching transition away from plastic and towards paper containers. By 2030, Upfield aims to reduce plastic in packaging by 80% across its portfolio and save over 25,000 tons of plastic waste annually.

“At Chapter 4, we focus on creativity, expertise and personalized advice for our customers. At the same time, we take an evidence-based approach in order to make decisions and results comprehensible. This recipe has proven successful for over 13 years. Above all, we would like to thank our clients for their trust and look forward to continuing to shape the communications landscape with our commitment to quality and versatility!” says Sigrid Prager-Kuhn, Managing Director of Chapter 4 Austria.
