Donat has launched the “Life Is at Stake” campaign in Sarajevo, focusing on preventive examinations for the six most common types of cancer, including colon cancer. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of regular health check-ups, because the earlier a disease is detected, the better the chances of successful treatment.
The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton. Chapter 4 Bosnia organised the official event on behalf of Donat, giving attendees the opportunity to learn all about the campaign. Free preventive examinations, including colon cancer screenings, are available to all residents of Sarajevo Canton.
A key focus of the campaign is a healthy digestive system. Donat highlights how important proper digestion is for overall well-being, and how small daily habits can strengthen health in the long term.
With this campaign, Donat aims to raise awareness about prevention, encourage participation in the programs, and motivate residents to make preventive care part of their daily lives. Early detection can save lives – and even small, conscious steps today can make a real difference tomorrow.
