„Art at the Moosauer Hof“ Wolfgang Semmelrock presented his Lotus Flowers Project

On the occasion of the Art Chicago 2012, the Austrian artist Wolfgang Semmelrock is planning an installation of his “Lotus Flower Project” in the Lincoln Park Lagoon. Last weekend, on August 13th, the final rehearsal took place at the Moosauer Hof in the Waldviertel.

“Wolfgang Semmelrock picks up many traditions of the modern age and interprets them new. The installation at the Moosauer Hof was a strong and aesthetic confrontation between art and nature.” - explains Carl Aigner, Director of the Lower Austrian State Museum, in his address.

“With “Art at the Moosauer Hof”, the new artistic confrontation between landscape, nature and culture started in private initiative. Wolfgang Semmelrock marks the first strong step.”- says Severin Heinisch, initiator of the project and owner of Chapter 4, the Agency which supports the project.

About 50 people from Vienna and Lower Austria came to the presentation into the Waldviertel, including Hubert Schultes - CEO of the Lower Austrian Insurance, Till Reiter - managing shareholder of the Ludwig Reiter Shoe manufacture, Hans Staud - owner of the jam manufacture Staud’s, Albert Missbichler - managing shareholder of Sciotec, Katharina Setzer - managing director of Beeline Productions, Katharina Klün- Red Bull, Sigrid Kuhn - Media Saturn, Isolde Charmin - sociologist of culture, Robert Misik - publicist, Carl Aigner - Director of the Lower Austrian State Museum and others.
