The ZKW Group, the specialist for innovative premium lighting systems and electronics, is expanding its ten existing international locations at the beginning of May with a new development office in Olomouc/Czech Republic and a sales and development office in Shanghai. The new office in Olomouc will support the global engineering network and take on additional development tasks in addition to the existing capacities in Austria. The ZKW subsidiary in the Czech Republic will develop complete lighting systems in the future. Initially, 50 new jobs will be created as part of the expansion, while the company's goal is to employ more than 100 skilled workers by 2023. The new sales and development office in Shanghai will support the existing ZKW site in Dalian. Despite the pandemic and the difficult economic environment, the Group has managed to generate sales of EUR 1.03 billion in 2020 and these expansion steps just underscore the ZKW Group's successful course.
